Available are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.geodiscoverytours.com\/produkt\/meru-und-kilimandscharo-trekking\/\">Machame Route<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; scenically attractive, good for acclimatisation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lemosho Route<\/strong> &#8211; quiet, varied, ideal for first-timers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Marangu Route<\/strong> &#8211; with hut accommodation, popular with beginners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rongai Route<\/strong> &#8211; dry northern side, less travelled<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Northern Circuit<\/strong> &#8211; the longest and most acclimatisation-friendly route<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The choice is made individually &#8211; tailored to fitness, travel time, experience and personal preferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Acclimatisation &#8211; safety through responsibility and monitoring<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A successful Kilimanjaro climb begins with a good acclimatisation strategy. We pay attention to a <strong>slow, well-paced ascent<\/strong>, integrate <strong>rest days<\/strong> and use <strong>pulse oximeters<\/strong> daily to measure oxygen saturation and heart rate. Our mountain guides are trained in <strong>high-altitude tours<\/strong> and recognise signs of altitude problems early on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mt. Meru &#8211; our clear recommendation for preparation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before Kilimanjaro we recommend the climb of <strong>Mount Meru (4,566 m)<\/strong>. This impressive acclimatisation mountain not only offers spectacular nature, but also outstanding physical preparation. The summit day of Mt. Meru, however, requires <strong>sure-footedness and some light scrambling experience<\/strong>, as the terrain becomes more technically demanding towards the end.
