The scenery is virtually predestined for trekking and the rich culture invites you to immerse yourself in it.<br>\nAlso because the monsoon season during the summer months in Nepal makes it impossible to run further tours apart from Upper Mustang and Upper Dolpo, the Ladakh tours are ideal for those of you who can only travel in the summer months. The best time to travel to Ladakh is in fact the months of June to September. July and August are the high season and are particularly warm. Large temperature differences can be expected here. In the cities, daytime temperatures can climb to over 35\u00b0C, while at night the temperature can drop to around 20\u00b0C. The snow line in the mountains in July and August usually lies at around 5,500 m, so the temperature there will not fall below 0\u00b0C at night.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div>\n<p>Because of its well-preserved Tibetan-Buddhist culture and customs, Ladakh is also known as \u201cLittle Tibet\u201d. It would not be wrong to say that Ladakh is a good mix of original Tibet and the Kingdom of BHUTAN. Anyone who finds Bhutan too expensive and Tibet no longer original enough will feel at home in Ladakh. Because Ladakh is part of India, you need an Indian visa to enter. Travel within India is by air from Delhi to Leh (the capital of Ladakh).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div>Depending on your flight schedule, all our Ladakh tours offer the option of visiting the Taj Mahal before you fly back home.
