As you know, I was struggling with health-related difficulties both before the trip and during the first days on site. That of course made everything a little more difficult. All the more important to me (also because I was travelling alone) was that I felt well looked after. And I did. Both through your advice and our conversations beforehand, and through all the contact persons on site. Everyone took very good care of me, and my team, which consisted of 8 people (1 guide, 1 cook, 1 waiter and 5 porters), supported me to the best of their abilities during the entire 8 days on the mountain. Without the support of these people it would have been much more difficult, or rather I probably would not have made it to the summit of Kibo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Achaf (my waiter) made a great effort every day to make sure I was well, that I ate and drank enough and that, as much as possible, I lacked nothing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Victor (my cook) prepared dishes for me every day that were so delicious you could in some cases have served them without any problem in fine dining establishments in Germany. Incredible!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jackson and the porters were always so fast that on every arrival at camp my tent was already set up and I could relax right after the strenuous tours and also had enough privacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And Brighton (my guide) reliably led me through all the days on the mountain, explained a lot to me about the mountain, flora, fauna, etc., and motivated and pushed me when it was necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It really was a great team, who grew on me over the days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this respect, I can only report positively about the entire organisation of the trip, the food, the team and the experience factor.
