The Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek offers a very good introduction to the Everest region and brings you very close to Mount Ama Dablam (6,860 m), which, with its elegant shape, is also known as the most beautiful mountain in the HimalayasAma Dablam The highlights of this trip are the first view of Mount Everest, the visit of Tengboche Monastery and the excursion to Ama Dablam Base Camp (4,570 m). There we are very close to the majestically beautifully formed Ama Dablam and enjoy the mountain panorama.
After an extensive sightseeing in Kathmandu on day 3 we fly to Lukla (2,827m). Some say that the flight and landing alone at Lukla are worth the trip. The trek leads through mountain forests, along rushing rivers past famous Buddhist villages and monasteries of the Sherpa people. Upon arrival in Namche Bazaar a fantastic mountain landscape greets us. At the famous Tengboche monastery you will experience Buddhist culture intensively with its songs and its tradition
At the Everest viewpoint on a clear day we can admire Everest, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and Lothse. The views from here are impressive.
This trek is an ideal choice for both beginners and advanced and provides a memorable introduction to the Sherpa culture and the mountains of the Khumbu region. Good physical condition, health and surefootedness are required.
