The Manaslu circuit is a nice and less visited alternative to the Annapurna circuit. It goes around Manaslu (8,163m), the eighth highest mountain in the world. The path takes you through a region which is both geographically and culturally fascinating, where the scenery is constantly changing. The impressive canyons, terraced fields, subtropical forests and glaciers of Manaslu make this circuit a unique experience.
This trek is still not exploited and you will only meet a few trekkers on route. Nearly every day you will be presented with a new view of the Himalayan mountain scenery. One of the highlights of this tour is the fascinating view from the Larkya La (5,135m) from where you can see Himalchuli (7,893m), Manaslu (8,163m), Cheo Himal (6,820m) and Himlung Himal (7,126m).
This trek is a good choice if you are looking for challenging trekking in a remote region of the Nepal Himalayas.
