On 01/03/2018 the Holi Festival takes place in Nepal. At this ancient Hindu festival, the people of Nepal and India celebrate the end of winter. It is a kind of spring carnival, where people throw bags of coloured powder and water bombs at each other. Unlike many Hindu holidays, this festival has no religious requirements or prayers. Fun and joy take centre stage. The next Holi Festival will take place on 20 March 2019.
