This tour combines the best of two tours in the Khumbu region, the Everest base camp and Gokyo Valley trek, where you will cross two challenging Himalayan mountain passes, Cho La and Renjo La. The trek offers the widest range of views on the 8.000m peaks in Nepal and is one of the most impressive for mountain hikers.

The tour begins with a fascinating flight to Lukla (2.800m). From there it first goes through a lush and colorful landscape. Then you will switch to the more bare glaciers and ice fields towards Everest base camp with an ascent to Kala Patar (5.545m). The captivating panoramic views on Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse, among others, will be the first highlight of this tour. The trail then goes over the Cho La to the Gokyo Valley. With the ascent of Gokyo Ri (5.357m), you will have an even more captivating view of the 8.000m peaks and the beautiful lakes of Gokyo. You will then return back across the Renjo La towards Lukla.

This trek is a very good choice if you are already familiar with challenging tours and have a very good level of physical fitness and health.

All our routes are planned carefully and with sufficient time for acclimatization to ensure that you always stay fit and healthy.
