This tour combines the most beautiful two tours in the Khumbu area, the Everst Base Camp and Gokyo Valley Trek, where you will cross two challenging Himalayan mountain passes, the Cho La and Renjo La. The trek offers the largest selection of views of the 8,000-meter peaks in Nepal and is one of the most impressive for mountain hikers. The tour begins with a fascinating flight to Lukla (2,800 m). From there it goes first through a lush and colorful landscape. You then switch to the barren glaciers and ice fields in the direction of Everest Base Camp with an ascent to Kala Patar (5,545 m).

The captivating panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse, among others, will be the first highlight of this tour. Then the path leads over the Cho La (pass) to the Gokyo valley. With the ascent to Gokyo Ri (5,357 m) you will have an even more impressive view of the 8,000-meter peaks and the beautiful lakes of Gokyo. It then goes back over the Renjo La in the direction of Lukla.

This trek is a very good choice if you have already experienced challenging tours in Nepal and are of very good physical fitness and health.

All of our routes are carefully planned with sufficient time to acclimatize so that you always stay fit and healthy.
