We felt we were in good hands with the geoDiscovery team in Nepal from the very beginning and were welcomed with great warmth. The Kathmandu Guesthouse is located in the Thamel quarter, has a quiet garden and offers a very high standard for Nepal. The drive to Macha Khola and back from Jagat was surprisingly bumpy for us, but the drivers handled it with ease. Our two guides and porters were TOP. We were really pampered and the food was extremely tasty. We were surprised that we were always allowed to order individually and that the menu selection was so large. In terms of landscape, the Manaslu Circuit offers a great deal of variety, and on the acclimatisation days we did two worthwhile ascents. We were able to enjoy wonderful hiking days with sunny weather, spring flowers, sparkling snow mountains and very friendly people.
