Dancing on the Roof of the World, up to Island Peak (6,189 m)

On our last Lobuche East and Island Peak tour we had especially much fun… The mountain panorama in combination with the cloud cover drifting over Gokyo and the Ngozumpa Glacier inspired us, and so we came up with the idea of dancing — starting at Gokyo Ri (5,357 m), then on Cho La (5,400 m), on Lobuche East (6,119 m) and finally on Island Peak (6,189 m).
