NEW – Ladakh Trekking and Cultural Tours

On our most recent trips, we fell in love with Ladakh – with its extraordinarily barren mountain landscapes, its green oases and its snow-capped peaks. The masterful monasteries of the Buddhist-Tibetan culture impressed us deeply. The landscape feels made for hiking and trekking. The rich culture invites you to immerse yourself in it. We have therefore decided to put together some of the most beautiful tours for you.

Sham Valley Trekking and Cultural Tour – Moderate

Markha Valley Camping Trekking – Moderate to Demanding

Nubra Valley with Lasermo La – Camping Trek – Demanding

Cultural Tour through Ladakh – Little Tibet – Easy

Because, due to the monsoon during the summer months, we cannot offer any tours in Nepal other than the “Upper Mustang” and “Upper Dolpo” trips, the Ladakh tours are ideal for those of you who can only travel during the summer months. The best time to travel to Ladakh is from June to September. July and August are considered high season and are particularly warm. Large differences in temperature can be expected. In the cities, daytime temperatures can rise above 35 °C. At night, the temperature can drop to around 20 °C. The snow line in the mountains in July and August generally lies at about 5,500 m, so temperatures at night will not fall below 0 °C.

Because of its still well-preserved Tibetan-Buddhist culture and customs, Ladakh is also called “Little Tibet”. Since Ladakh today belongs to India, you need an Indian visa for entry. Onward travel within India is by plane from Delhi to Leh (the capital of Ladakh).

Enjoy browsing through, and let us know if you have any questions or are interested in one of the tours.
