A heartfelt thank you to the team at geoDiscovery Tours. Perfectly organised by Ms. Kolay, we experienced a wonderful time in Nepal. Our guide Dorje and porter Mingmar took loving care of us. Together we walked through the dreamlike landscape towards Kopra Dhanda like a small family and best friends. A little tip: even in October, take a thick down jacket with you. It often takes a while before the lodges are heated. Our trekking tour was perfectly chosen by Ms. Kolay. On many stages it was just the four of us, Dorje, Mingmar, Ute and me. Simply walking and enjoying the silence. Even the accommodations were not crowded. Especially in Swanta we got to know not only the country but, as they say, also the people. The hosts there spoiled us with the most delicious dishes from their kitchen. For us this trip was exactly the right thing to wipe the hard drives in our heads clean again. Now there was room again for the information from the very interesting sightseeing tours. Through the loving, always calm nature of the Nepalese people, we experienced even the hours in Kathmandu as a relaxed dive into the chaos.
