In short, the trip was an absolute highlight, also compared with the many trips of the recent past. The intense bodily experiences at altitude, the very varied landscape forms, the wildlife in the Serengeti and the friendliness of all involved led to a lasting experience that we will benefit from for a long time. Lodge in Arusha
Very lovely lodge near the city with the feeling of living in the Palmengarten in Frankfurt. Very personal service with the feeling that the staff already know what is needed before we even thought of it. We felt very well welcomed there.
Mt. Meru and Kilimanjaro
Very nice tours through all vegetation zones and excellent acclimatisation to the altitude of Kili. The guides never left any doubt that we would reach our goal and supported us greatly. Anytime again. Otherwise, for both climbs, the team was outstandingly attuned to one another. It simply fit.
We had a lot of fun, even though it was strenuous. On Kili there were no extraordinary problems with altitude as we were well acclimatised. Many thanks again to Brighton here.
Coffee tour (additional booking on site)
Lovely individual excursion into the coffee zone of Arusha and producing your own coffee. It was a lot of fun, also with the later, very open discussion about the country and culture over our own coffee.
Serengeti
Very experienced guide and driver, who showed us nearly all the animals of the Serengeti in picture and sound. Thanks to the outstanding expert knowledge of the guide we learned a great deal more. The great migration was already, due to the previous rain, in full swing and was a special experience. The lodge in the Serengeti was an experience but was more set up for larger travel groups, who had the goings-on fully under control.
Arusha
The city excursion was the only minor minus point. Here we had expected a bit more, which probably could not be fulfilled.
So in summary: Highly recommended, also in combination with Serengeti. Ulrike and Roland
