After excellent and professional advice in advance from geoDiscovery Tours, we decided on the Mardi Himal Trekking Tour. The difficulty level is moderate (but also not too easy), and therefore just right for us, having previously only done short trekking tours or day hikes, but now looking for new challenges.
The route leads through stunningly beautiful landscapes, and the individual stages are measured in such a way that they are manageable and we could acclimatise well to the respective altitude. And when you finally stand at the Mardi Himal View Point at 4,200m altitude and see this fantastic panorama, all the strain of the ascent is completely forgotten.
Our special thanks go to our guide Laxman and our porter Dipendra, who took excellent care of us, and with whom we laughed a lot – not only over the Nepalese card game Dumbal.
