It was a soul journey! Nepal and its people are truly worth a trip.
The organisation was superb, the welcome warm-hearted and perfect. Truly everything worked smoothly – both airport transfers, the on-site care from Arun was great. The hotel in Kathmandu had a fantastic location and was very lovely, a small oasis in the big city.
The trip itself was an experience, although we are not really trekkers 😊. From the 2nd day on, I no longer knew what day of the week or what date it was, and that is a good sign for me, and so I really had the feeling of long holidays 😊 The two guides were great and I would want to be on the road with these two again anytime; they were competent, humorous and brought us closer to a lot about the country and its people. We felt very well looked after, and the care and organisation by the two of them throughout the whole trip was top-notch. The two porters were also wonderful people; unfortunately there was a language barrier and we couldn’t get to know them as well, but with them too everything worked out wonderfully, they were always very friendly and helpful.
We also liked Kathmandu very much; the tour at the beginning was an amazing experience. Next time we would want to stay longer in Kathmandu, as this city has so much to offer for us; we were almost a little sad that we had not tacked on more days there.
