The long-awaited trekking trip to ABC via the Muldai View Point exceeded expectations by far. That already started with the individual advice in advance. Because I photograph a lot, I decided on an individual solo trip. That had the additional advantage that I could modify the tour according to my wishes. So, for example, I stayed one night at the Base Camp to be able to take night shots and was one day longer in Kathmandu. That way I was still able to do the Everest panorama flight from Kathmandu in the early morning in the best photo weather. In general the recommendation of the travel time in November because of the clear weather was right on the mark. With the selection of guide and porter, two young lads were placed at my side with whom I got on very well. The guide conscientiously and professionally looked after me, so that the trip could be enjoyed by me as planned and without any bad incident. At the two hot spots Muldai Peak and ABC, the clouds broke open on arrival and at sunrise, so that a dreamlike scenario unfolded for photographing. I even shed tears. My guide always coordinated decisions with me in advance and his experience was beneficial to me. I was always satisfied with the accommodation and the food. So my dream, since I as a young lad in the seventies admired Reinhold Messner from the High Tatras, came true at seventy.
