The trip was to my satisfaction from start to finish. Whether Delhi, Ladakh or Agra, I felt well looked after at all times. The individual components meshed like gears. I never felt left alone. I did not regret my decision to undertake this trip as an individual journey at any moment. On the contrary, it gave me some experiences that would not otherwise have been possible. For example, the visit to the home of Wangel’s family. Sitting in the kitchen tent in the evening and looking over Jalak’s shoulder while she was cooking is among my highlights. Also the fact that Wangel himself is an enthusiastic photographer suited me very well. Because the understanding when a photo takes a little longer is otherwise often not there. The varied landscape, the nature, the friendliness of the people and the spirituality felt everywhere captivated me.
